Submarine in my opinion one of the best Irish debut albums ever released & I think it was way ahead of its time. Well done Paul! Loving your memories 🎸

I love reading these Paul. There is a resonance in your writing.

I happened across my vinyl copy of Submarine the other day....it's well overdue a listen.

Really glad to hear you are enjoying them Peter. Spent years trying to forget the band after we broke up - now, it’s important for me to do the opposite.

When I get to the end of each of these I feel like a kid again waiting for the “same Bat time….same Bat channel” next episode. Great writing that brings memories to life!

Bands like Blue in Heaven & Into Paradise were really good live too !!!

The Rock Garden had some great bands playing … Mercury Rev & Spiritualized being stand outs !!! What a time to be going to gigs in Dublin !!!
